Not to say that I didn't have fun waiting tables all those years at Denny's (Hey! It was fun!), but my 10 year career as a TV Meteorologist has taken me across the USA and back! It's been a great adventure, giving me a backstage pass to life.

I've flown a B-17 bomber, stood on top of a TV station during a Nor'easter while broadcasting live across the country, and have gone kayaking, rock climbing, and rollerblading while on the air live.

Sure, the schedule is always hectic and you've gotta be ready to move around the country, but as a first career I highly recommend it. Just please don't start taking yourself too seriously! If you promise not to, then check out Pay it Forward for some helpful hints how to get started in this crazy biz!
