Broadcast Agent Letter of Recommendation, Oct. 14, 2004

I've had the pleasure of knowing Christine Clayburg since meeting her in July of 2000. In that time, I've been both her agent and her friend. As a client, she's a dream. As a colleague, she's irreplaceable.
Christine tackles every problem, hurdle, and adverse situation with an unparalleled zest for living and learning. She has overcome nearly insurmountable odds and established herself as a knowledgeable, credible, and authoritative on-camera meteorologist. Starting from very humble beginnings, Christine has risen through the ranks and carved out a successful and lucrative career as a TV weathercaster in an industry dominated by men, many of whom are nearly twice her age. And she did it all through hard work and sweat equity. This is a woman who doesn't know the meaning of the word shortcut.
Through it all, Christine has maintained an infectious sense of humor.
She's easily tickled and she goes out of her way to share her sunny disposition with nearly everyone she encounters. Friends and coworkers are simply drawn to her, and not just for her intelligence, charm, and great looks. Christine's joy for life has served her well through so many ups and downs. Her enthusiasm and optimism make people want to be around her. There are no strangers in Christine's world, only friends she hasn't met yet.
Despite all of her personal victories and professional success, Christine remains one of the most modest people I know. She's always asking questions and seeking ways to improve. Her steadfast curiosity never fails to drive her onward and upward. In short, I can't think of a single job, opportunity, or challenge for which I wouldn't unconditionally recommend Christine Clayburg. Those of us who know her, work with her, mentor her, and learn from her, consider ourselves blessed.
